Matthew McCourry LMT
I graduated from Port Townsend School of Massage in 2014 and started my own massage practice. After a bit of growth and change I now have a nice little office on Bainbridge Island.
I focus on serving my clients through sessions customized to their needs. I use a combination of relaxation, injury treatment, range of motion, myofascial release techniques and integrated chest massage. I've gained a lot of benefits from receiving massage and because of this work, I am more present and aware of my body. I have felt a lot of relief from my military PTSD, and I feel more connected to myself. I have better kinaesthetic awareness, more flexibility, increased suppleness, and greater strength. From this I've seen many improvements in my Aikido (Martial Arts) practice, my day to day life and my general well-being. It's these benefits, experiences, and education that I want to share with my clients.
I want to help people live holistically in a body that supports them by being balanced, relaxed, connected, and strong.
